Frame Dance is more than a dance studio, it’s a vibrant community of creatives, writers, dancers, performers, thinkers, and arts-enthusiasts who believe in the power of the arts to connect us – to ourselves and each other – in meaningful ways. In addition to our fabulous movement classes, we offer workshops and events throughout the year to expand access and bring depth to Houston’s thriving arts-scene.

Find an event and join the culture-shaping conversation around the arts.

AT PLAY: Frame Dance + Kinetic Ensemble

Date/Time: Friday, May 17, 7:30pm
Location: Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston
3400 Main Street, 77002

Join the dance with this toe-tapping performance! We close our ninth season by exploring the role of ‘play’ within the ensemble. In collaboration with Frame Dance artistic director Lydia Hance, this program invites an interplay between music and dance, culminating in a celebration of optimism and togetherness.

The Emporium

Date/Time: May 10 – June 2
Location: Alley Theater

I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Alley Theater’s Artistic Director, Rob Melrose, and his remarkable cast of actors in crafting movement vocabulary for The Emporium. Actors are masters at infusing play into their work, and I’m so inspired by the creative opportunities they provide for developing innovative choreography.

This is a performance you don’t want to miss!
