Frame Dance brings creative, joyful, professional dance training to schools. Our instructors are performing professional dancers – many with master’s degrees in dance – who are passionate about instilling a love for movement in a body-positive environment that sparks children’s imaginations. Through music and the use of props, our students learn creativity, musicality, coordination, and fundamental ballet and modern dance techniques. Schools often choose our program because our classes are geared equally towards boys and girls. Our goal is to engage each child with dance through their body, heart, and mind, and we proudly share their progress in a recital at the end of the school year.
Frame Dance School Partnerships are nimble, high-quality programs that can operate in a variety of settings. We dance on stages, in classrooms, gymnasiums, studios, even outdoors. Our skilled and enthusiastic teachers are available during the school day and for after school enrichment, and we can meet teacher and administration needs by developing short-term or year-long dance programs for a variety of ages. Class sizes are ideally seven students per teaching or assisting adult, and adequate designated space is necessary for learning dance skills. Multi-age classes are an exciting possibility, and one of Frame Dance’s specialties, but we find that most classes are best taught to a specific age group, generally within a three-year span of ages. We are happy to discuss the multitude of programming possibilities with potential partners and work together to create dance education that will best enhance the lives of our students.
