Contemporary Arts Museum selected Frame Dance as CAMHLAB artist-in-residence in 2022 and Frame Dance created The Family Mantra, a multigenerational performance that explored generational changes in perspective, language, and behavior happening in the Houston community. The dance group created an interactive environment with marbles, toy tops, pathways on the floor, pipe cleaner dolls to manipulate, and puppets within the space at Montrose Collective and hosted Family Dance Parties, structured dance classes for all generations with lots of open-ended movement prompts that build bonds and promote creativity.
