Last night was the first session of Fieldwork for the Fall of 2010.  What an incredible group of artists!  I am so excited to see the art that is made in the group.

We showed Points and Coordinates to the group for (more!) feedback.  What a wonderful response we had, and lots of things to think about as I continue to develop this piece into a longer work.  Well…the piece won’t become longer, new work will be added to it to create a longer work.

Many members of the group resonated with the piece emotionally.  Some words that were used were: textures, human experiences, sensuality, suspense, ritual, loneliness, ashes burning, intentional, fluid, focus, alienation and isolation.  But come see for yourself!  Contemporary Arts Museum, Sept. 16 at 6:30 pm.
